New general use targets and bases are available at the Sporter range with the intent of taking some pressure off the competitive frames.

There are 4 bases and 8 target frames. There are 2 target frame heights. The taller frames will work at 50 ft and 25 yards and the shorter frames at 50 yards. Between 25 and 50 you’ll need to make a judgment call on frame size to assure bullets strike the bream. The frames are marked for intended distance and stored in a rack under the sporter shooting line cover. Frames well last longer if they are returned to the rack when not being used and bases are easier to find if they are also returned and stacked near the frame rack.

Power for the weather station has been modified. We are running a several week trial period of 24/7 weather station availability. If it works out it will remain powered 24/7 from now on. If it fails the trial, it will need to go back to daylight hours while we upgrade the solar capacity to accommodate the demand. Once an upgrade is completed, it would return to operation 24/7.
