There is a work party on Wednesday June 24th, 0800-1100. We will be repairing the 100 yard target hangers, installing another handgun table and repairing the .22lr/SHP target frames. If anyone has a portable welder capable of repairing some rebar target holders, it would be great. The range will be cold until about 0930, when the down range work is done. Bring hearing protection for when the range opens.

Notice to all TCMSA members

Department of Homeland Security published on Saturday, April 28th an ADVISORY IN NATURE, NOT A DIRECTIVE that will allow the range to reopen.  You will be using your own judgement and safety protocol if  you decide to use the range.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

The range will be closed Wednesday April 1^st and Wednesday April 15^th, Pasco Police will be conducting their rifle training and qualifications.

Before going to the range, check the web page, face book and email for a short notice closure to complete the repair of the road to the 200-yard target line.  Efforts are being made this week to obtain materials and coordinate with the equipment operator

Hand sanitizer is supposed to be installed in the Santi cans by the service provider, unable to confirm if this has been done.  Wash stations are not available from the service provider at this time.

You will need to provide your own wipes/sanitizer after activities such as opening the gate or signing in and out.

Maintain social distancing on the benches, use every other one. Respect other members, maintain distances and boundaries.

Due to the state’s current ban on public events & the federal recommendation of limiting groups of 10 or more people, the Sporting Rifle match scheduled for March 21 is cancelled. The Benchrest match scheduled for March 28 may be cancelled as well, and you should also expect that the April 2 general membership meeting will be cancelled. THIS MAY AFFECT YOUR ABILITY TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP!! We strongly suggest that you mail your renewal rather than plan on being able to renew at the April meeting.

Since garbage collection and sanitation of the outhouses require the gates to be accessible using the existing gate combination, along with the scheduled combination change April 1, we won’t be deviating from the scheduled combination change. This includes not locking the gate to members at this time. That being said, we STRONGLY ADVISE everyone to use some common sense. If you decide to use the range, keep some distance from other shooters, bring your own pen for the sign in sheet, and maybe some hand wipes. Please realize that many of our members are in the highest risk category for COVID-19, so give everyone some space if you happen to be at the range the same time as someone else.

Please note these decisions have not been taken lightly, the officers & board have debated these decisions for several days, and have taken these actions to ensure that our members are safe, and so that we can continue to have a safe place to shoot.

Zeitler’s Barn Sale, Members of the Richland Rod and Gun Club will be helping hold a Barn/Garage Sale starting at 9 AM Saturday, February 8th at 4109 Irving St. Pasco WA 99301. Acting on behalf of the Zeitler’s will be Howard Gardner and Larry Martin.

Items for sale are in the ammunition category including bullets, shell cases, primers, powder and reloading equipment (including presses and dies). Based on the fact that the items have been pre-owned, pricing on the items will be nominally 25-50% less than current value or best offer.

Accepted Payments are cash (rounded up to the nearest dollar) or check. All profits will be for the Zeitler’s.
