The power/range control system  is in progress with long needed upgrades.  The main power switch next to the flag pole is all new.  The switch is off at the 9 o’clock position and is on at  the 12 o’clock position.  The switch only moves from 9 to 12 or 12 to 9.  Do not force the switch in any other directions.

MONTHLY MEMBER MEETING VENUE CHANGE

Tri-Cities Metallic Silhouette Association Posted on March 6, 2021 by Mark JohnsonMarch 6, 2021

Starting with the April 1,2021 meeting, we will be using the EAGLES Hall, located at 2829 W Sylvester St, Pasco as our new meeting location.  With the growth of TCMSA and the increased attendance at the meetings, we need more room.  The area of the Eagles that we will be using is larger, allowing for more ‘space’ for attendees.  The meetings will still be on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.  The hall opens at 5:00 pm and they do have refreshments available.

MEMBERSHIP DUES

The gate combination will be changing on April 1,2021.  If you haven’t paid your dues yet and want the new combination before April 1,2021, you need to mail in your dues before March 15,2021.  All members are getting permanent member badges which take time to manufacture and mail out.  Starting April 1,2021, all members will be required to display their badge while on the range.  Members can obtain a ‘spouse’ permanent badge for a one-time fee of $10.  Guests/Visitors will be required to wear a guest/visitor sticker badge while at the range, these will be available in the sign-in area.

The venue for this meeting only has changed so we can accommodate a larger group and meet the social distancing rules.
The meeting is at HAPO CENTER (formerly the TRAC).

If your dues are submitted after March 15, 2021, we can not guarantee you will receive your new badge and combination before the combo change on April 1, 2021.

Mandatory Safety Refresher

Tri-Cities Metallic Silhouette Association Posted on February 1, 2021 by Mark JohnsonFebruary 12, 2021

The Officers and Board have reviewed the data collected by the Safety Advisors and the online Incident Reports concerning safety issues at the Range. These need to be addressed by all members, as they are safety issues at your Range.
Two options are available, scheduled classes for the Safety Briefing, or an online, “open book” Safety Refresher quiz. The Officers and Board have opted for the online, open book quiz as the least disruptive method to complete the refresher.

The online quiz needs to be completed by all members before you can renew for 2022, giving you 14 months to complete.

The Safety Refresher consists of questions based on our rules including the new revisions, and signage, at the range. It can be taken online using a computer, tablet or smartphone. It is open book and if you are familiar with our rules, it will take less than ten minutes to complete. Since the refresher is a continuing education tool, you must get all the questions correct to pass.  The registration information will be used solely to track which members have completed the refresher.

It is suggested you print the Range Rules from this link: Range Rules
Read the rules, and have them available for reference while you take the Safety Refresher.
