Club Treasurer Position
Your Club elections are coming up on January 4,2024, and we have not yet received a nomination or volunteer for the position of Club Treasurer. The Club by-laws do not allow for a Board member or Club Officer to hold more than one position. We need someone to volunteer for the position.
The Board has taken steps to reduce the knowledge and time required for the position. The Club will hire a CPA to take care of all tax and licensing issues, and a bookkeeper to take care of the books. The “new” Treasurers position will be responsible for:
Picking up Club mail at the Post Office
Depositing all member dues and donations in the Club bank account
Forwarding all renewal/new member info to the Membership Coordinator
Paying of bills with either check or electronic transfer
Forwarding all payment made and payment received information to the Bookkeeper
The Treasurer has a Club owned computer to take care of duties.
The Treasurer has an email account for communications
The position WILL NOT REQUIRE BOOKKEEPING DUTIES
