We have a room reserved at the Richland Library for Sunday 11/12 between 3:00pm and 4:30pm for members to submit comments on the attached Bylaw proposal.  As this is only 1.5 hrs., it would be appreciated if comments are forwarded to TCMSA.docs@gmail.com in advance.  Along with comments, resolutions/changes are requested!

 The effort to update the Bylaws started with the goal making changes needed to have a document which is current, better reflect what the Association is actually doing, and would be defensible when working with the Feds during negotiations for land leases/purchases.  A request was made for members to become active in this effort, basically a half-dozen people stepped up to contribute.  The attached Bylaw proposal started as a “simple cleanup” of the existing Bylaws and it rapidly became obvious a few word changes or deletions was not adequate.

 A redline/strikeout is not included to denote the changes which were made but one of the attached files (named TCMSA Bylaws Draft 6 (08-07-2023) FORMATTED w-comments) shows comments in the margin which summarize the changes against a version which is one version old.  latest version for comment and consideration includes additional refinements, is attached, and is named “Bylaw proposal for membership review 11-03-2023.”

 Once comments from the general membership are incorporated, that version will be presented to the Board at the Dec. Board meeting for concurrence to be acted on at the Annual Meeting in Jan. 2024.
