How To Join

New members of our association are always welcome. The easiest way to join is to come to one of our monthly meetings. We meet on the first Thursday of each month in the Hunter Education classroom at Griggs Department Store in Pasco, at 7pm. After the general membership meeting each month we hold a new member orientation, after which new members receive the gate combination and become full members of the association.

NRA membership is also required to be a member of our association. New members who are already NRA members should bring their NRA membership card, or some other proof of NRA membership. New members who are not NRA members can join the NRA through one of our NRA recruiters (be sure to email or call us ahead of time so we can be sure that we have an NRA recruiter available at the meeting).

The cost for joining the club is $80 for the first year, and $60 per year after that. We also reduce the membership fee to $40 per year for subsequent years if members participate in at least one work party each year. The cost for joining the NRA is currently $35 for a one year membership. There are also multi-year memberships available for the NRA, with savings over the annual membership fee. New NRA members and those renewing their membership can also save some money on their membership dues in some cases by joining or renewing through an NRA recruiter. Ask a recruiter or check the NRA website for more info. TCMSA membership dues can be paid in cash or by check. NRA memberships can be paid for by cash, check, or credit/debit card.

The application form for new TCMSA members is available on our website, or at the meeting. Meetings start at 7pm, and generally are over by 8:30. Orientation takes approximately another 30-45 minutes, depending on the number of attendees. New members are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes early, and ask for the membership coordinator, who will provide them with the membership application form and any other paperwork required.

If any new members are unable to attend a regular monthly meeting, we can make other arrangements. You will have to send us your completed application form and dues for the year by mail, and then at the next regular meeting the membership coordinator will include your name in the list of new members for that month, and will then send your membership packet to you, along with instructions on how to contact a representative of the club to arrange for a special orientation class. Please realize that this method will take considerably longer than attending a regular meeting.
